Property and Visa: Separate Matters
Buying property does NOT grant a visa or residency. You do not need a visa to own property either. For those wanting to live in Japan: the Business Manager Visa requires a Japanese company with ¥5M capital and a viable business plan. Simply owning rental property is generally not sufficient — you need active business management.
